Support Patrick and his efforts at National Links Trust’s ‘The Hike at East Potomac’ on Monday, June 10th

I’m participating in The Hike to support the National Links Trust (NLT) because I believe in their mission to “positively impact our community and change lives through affordable and accessible municipal golf.” Let’s be honest here – I’m also always looking for an excuse to play more golf, and this gives me the opportunity to do so while supporting a great cause.

From the moment my Dad put a club in my hands, golf has given me so much – it has brought me closer to family and friends, challenged me both mentally and physically, and taught me so many life lessons. I’m excited to give back a little bit by helping advance NLT’s mission to bring this great game to more people.

Since moving to D.C. more than fifteen year ago, I have spent countless hours at the city’s three historic golf courses, including competing in the inaugural National Links Trust Championship last year. I’m very excited about what NLT has already done in just a few years to renovate these courses, bring more people – especially kids – to the game, and become a national leader in using municipal golf to bring people together.
