Group 'Day of Service' Volunteer EVENTS

National Links Trust welcomes volunteer groups for one-time service projects throughout our three Washington, DC golf facilities - Rock Creek Park Golf, Langston Golf Course, and East Potomac Golf Links. Projects may include Habitat Restoration (Invasive Plant Removal or Native Species Plantings), Trash Clean-up, or Driving Range Clean-up. These projects help make a difference at our facilities and in the community!

More details:

  • The projects listed within this form are designed for groups up to 30 volunteers, depending on the activity. If your group is larger than 30, we may need to split them into multiple groups with projects at different locations or time frames. For groups smaller than 5, please see our running list of on-going volunteer events to find the opportunity that works best for your group.

  • Project times are during the weekday from 9am - 4pm and are usually 2-3 hours in length. Weekends maybe available on a limited, case-by-case basis depending on size, golf course and time of day.

  • Please complete the form linked below at least 3-4 weeks prior to your preferred project date.

Please contact Volunteer Coordinator Andrew Szunyog at aszunyog@nationallinkstrust.com with any questions.

Habitat Restoration, Invasive Vegetation, and Trash Removal with the Anacostia Watershed Society

Join NLT and the Anacostia Watershed Society in removing invasive vegetation and trash from the forested border of Langston Golf Course along the banks of Kingman Lake and the Anacostia River. These removal events are important efforts in managing and mitigating the invasive vegetation and trash that has taken over Langston Golf Course. These events are also a great way to get some exercise, relieve some stress, and meet and engage with fellow municipal golf enthusiasts and environmental stewards. More details on the event will come from the Anacostia Watershed Society before the event. We hope to see you there!
